A Working Landmark
A 1918 theatre, still full of working offices
Lyric Square is downtown Anniston's landmark office community — the original Lyric Theatre, opened in 1918 and now home to law firms, counseling practices, accountants, engineers, and other professionals. Suites open onto a skylit atrium built inside the old auditorium, under the theatre's preserved proscenium arch.
It's character you can't build new, wrapped around offices that simply work: one all-inclusive rent, fiber internet, a shared conference room, and parking at the door — a block from the courthouses where so many of our tenants spend their days.

Steps from the courthouses
A block or two from the county, federal, and bankruptcy courts — the reason attorneys have officed here for decades.
Since 1918
From the vaudeville stage to Lyric Square
The Lyric Theatre opened on Noble Street in April 1918 on the Keith Vaudeville circuit, became the Ritz movie house in 1928, and was slated for demolition before a group of local investors rescued and renovated it in the 1980s — a project recognized by the American Planning Association.
Today it's on the National Register of Historic Places, and its atrium, proscenium arch, and original theatre seats are preserved for the tenants who work here.

Questions & Answers
Frequently asked questions
How much does office space cost at Lyric Square?
Lyric Square leases full-service suites in downtown Anniston generally from about $975 per month for an 860-square-foot suite. Because rent is all-inclusive — utilities, janitorial, and parking are covered — that monthly figure is close to your true cost. Call (415) 504-2765 for the current availability list and pricing.
What is included in the rent?
Rent is full-service: all utilities, janitorial service for your suite and the common areas, and parking in the adjacent lot, plus use of the shared community conference room. AT&T fiber internet is available throughout the building; tenants set up their own service.
What lease terms do you offer?
Terms typically run from one to five years, with renewal options available on many suites. Lyric Square is locally owned and managed by Anniston Commercial LLC, so terms are negotiated to fit your practice.
Is the building close to the courthouses?
Yes — Lyric Square is within a block or two of the Calhoun County Courthouse, the U.S. Federal Courthouse and Bankruptcy Court, Anniston City & Municipal Court, and the Circuit Court Clerk. Law and professional practices have officed here for decades for exactly that reason.
Where do tenants park?
Parking is included in your lease in the lot adjacent to the building, with additional street parking on Noble Street for visitors.
Is this the old Lyric Theatre?
It is. The building opened in April 1918 as the Lyric Theatre on the Keith Vaudeville circuit, became the Ritz in 1928, and was renovated into offices in the early 1980s. It's listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the original proscenium arch still stands over the atrium — and it's in downtown Anniston, Alabama, not the Lyric Square in London.
